Livestock Damage Claims - Important Information

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has made some significant changes to the Livestock Damage Claim program. Effective April 1, 2012 all claimants MUST provide a Premises ID Number AND a Farm Business Registration Number. This information must be provided to the Livestock Valuer. Without this information, claims submitted WILL NOT BE COMPENSATED. Additional information provided by the Ministry, including the process to obtain a number, can be found by clicking here.

The Township of Brock will be sending letters to all claimants in 2011 advising of these changes together with a request that you provide the municipality with these numbers to have on file in the event of a claim.
