The Sunderland Park is located next to the Sunderland Arena at 20 Park Street. The park offers a basketball court, tennis court, baseball diamonds, picnic shelter and playground equipment. This summer (2003) a skateboard park will also be built at this location.

The Sunderland Fairgrounds is also in this location - home to the Sunderland Fall Fair held annually in September and the Maple Syrup Festival held annually in March.
