Township of Brock Official Plan
The Township's Official Plan defines policies for growth and development.
The Township of Brock Official Plan was adopted by Council on June 26, 2006, and approved by the Region of Durham on May 9, 2007 with certain modifications and deferrals. It contains detailed policies for the growth and development of the Township’s urban areas (Beaverton, Cannington, and Sunderland).
Each of the urban areas is divided into the following land use designations:
- Residential;
- Mixed Use Corridors;
- Employment;
- Open Space;
- Utility; and,
- Regional Centres (central business districts).
