Arena and Community Centre Operation

by Site Admin last modified 2010-05-04 10:10

The Township of Brock operates three arena/community centres.

The Township of Brock operates three arena/community centres - one in each of the three urban areas of Beaverton, Cannington and Sunderland. Each facility is host to their own minor hockey and figure skating organizations. In addition to this, ice time is used regularly by men's and women's leagues of all ages for hockey, figure skating, ringette and broomball.

Each arena also offers public skating, mom's & tots, and shinny hockey.  Please note that as of March 2010, regular public skating times at the Beaverton/Thorah Community Centre have changed.  There will also be additional public skating times during March Break.  To view an updated schedule of public ice time please click here.

In addition to ice rentals, each arena has an auditorium that is available for rent for both alcohol and non-alcohol functions. Each facility provides tables and chairs, kitchen and bar areas and a stage. All facilities have been renovated to make the auditoriums wheelchair accessible. For a list of rates please click here.  Also, advertising opportunities exist for the arenas at very reasonable rates.
