Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of construction and lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the Township of Brock.
When: April 25 to June 24. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Lake Ridge Road from north of Sunderland Road (Regional Road 10) to south of Concession Road 7 in the Township of Brock.

Yard waste collection delays in Ajax, Brock, Clarington, Pickering, Scugog and Uxbridge
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of yard waste collection delays in the Town of Ajax, Township of Brock, Municipality of Clarington, City of Pickering, Township of Scugog and Township of Uxbridge. The Durham Region Waste Management Department will be hosting a Compost Giveaway on Saturday May 7, 2022 from 8:00 am.. - noon at the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre, 176 Main Street in Beaverton.
- Residents may fill up to four (4) blue boxes with compost

Whitby, Ontario - Durham Region Health Department has received a limited supply of the Novavax Nuvaxovid (Novavax) COVID-19 vaccine. Novavax offers a new COVID-19 vaccine option for individuals who are not able to receive an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine or have been waiting for an alternative to the mRNA vaccines.
