Seasonal leaf and yard waste collection resumes

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents that leaf and yard waste collection is starting back up in the townships of Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge, the City of Pickering, the Town of Ajax and the Municipality of Clarington.
When: Leaf and yard waste collection will resume on regular waste collection days starting on the following weeks:
- Municipality of Clarington – week of April 6
- Town of Ajax – week of April 6
- Townships of Brock, Uxbridge and Scugog – week of April 13

The Region of Durham, Works Department, continues to ensure that services that have been identified as essential by the Province of Ontario, including waste management and household hazardous waste collection, will be completed safely and efficiently. With this in mind, our Regionally-operated Waste Management Facilities (WMF) and Household Hazardous Waste Depots will remain operational for as long as possible.
