we Invite residents to participate in No Mow May by signing out a sign at the Municipal Office in Cannington and committing to not mowing the lawn until June 1.

Nomination forms for the Harold Lodwick Citizen ship Award are now available. To nominate an exemplary volunteer, please contact the Harold Lodwick Citizenship Award committee, in writing or email.
Include the name of your nominee, the reason for the nomination including their past and present volunteer and community participation along with their contact information and your contact information.

King Street park Project

In celebration of their 75th anniversary, The Beaverton Lions Club have proposed number of community projects, one of which is a new track and soccer pitch for the King Street Park in Beaverton.
Township staff have been working with a design firm who specializes in track design and have been provided with 7 proposals.
