NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETINGPROPOSED PROCUREMENT BY-LAW 3148-2022
TAKE NOTICE that, Council will be considering the adoption of a new proposed Procurement By-Law.
Specifically, Council will be considering:
- By-Law 3148-2022-FI that repeals current By-Law 1912-2001-FI, which defines the procurement policies and procedures for the Corporation of the Township of Brock.

National Hunger Action Month Begins on September 6, 2022

September is National Hunger Action Month. This month The Township of Brock is teaming up with other municipalities in the Region of Durham to collect donations on behalf of their local food banks.
Many families will send their children back to school as September begins.
As families and their children continue to struggle due to the ongoing effects of the pandemic, food banks, and other related services are even more critical.
Help a child by giving them a school year free of food insecurity...

Passing of Former Mayor Terry Clayton

Terry Clayton former Mayor (2000-2003, 2011-2014) Regional Councillor (1994-1997) and Councillor Ward 2 (1988- 1994) for the Township of Brock has sadly passed away today due to health complications from a recent surgery. Our flags fly at half mast to recognize a wonderful member of our community as we all grieve this tremendous loss. Further details will be made available at the appropriate time.
Municipal Office Closure - Labour Day

Please note that The Township of Brock Municipal Administration Office located at 1 Cameron Street East, Cannington, will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 5, 2022
The office will reopen on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
