Municipal Office Closure - Labour Day

Please note that The Township of Brock Municipal Administration Office located at 1 Cameron Street East, Cannington, will be closed for Labour Day on Monday, September 5, 2022
The office will reopen on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind residents that harvest season is coming soon. Drivers may experience temporary delays on rural roads due to slow moving farm machinery. Motorists are asked to be patient and cautious when sharing the road with these vehicles.
When: Harvest season starts in the fall and will continue until the ground is frozen.

The Township of Brock is experiencing an increase in incidents related to aggressive dog behaviour and dogs otherwise at large.

Invasive plant species are present within the Township of Brock, and a survey has been done to assess the severity of the problem.
The most common invasive plant species within the Township of Brock are Common Buckthorn, Dog Strangling Vine, Wild Parsnip, Phragmites, Garlic Mustard, and Tatarian Honeysuckle.

The Ukrainian flag was raised at the Municipal Administration Building in Cannington on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in celebration of the 31st anniversary of Ukrainian Independence.
