Municipal Office Reopening on January 31, 2022

The Township of Brock will begin the safe and gradual reopening of its Municipal Administration Building for in-person services in alignment with public health guidelines. Beginning January 31st, 2022, the Municipal Administration Building located at 1 Cameron Street, E. Cannington will be open to the public from Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Appointments are preferred, as some staff members continue to work from home. Appointments can be made by calling (705) 432-2355.
Please note that for the immediate term, visitors to the building will be limited to the first floor only and that public washrooms are unavailable. Visitors who have made appointments with staff that occupy the 2nd floor will meet on the first floor for the service required. Online services will continue to be offered at www.townshipofbrock.ca.
Visitors should be aware that safety measures are in place to protect visitors and staff. Visitors must:
- Wear a face covering such as a mask, bandana or scarf that covers the nose, mouth and chin at all times;
- Sanitize hands upon building entry; and
- Keep at least two (2) meters from others
Protective shields and enhanced cleaning will be increased to ensure a safe public space.
Beaverton and Sunderland arena auditoriums where Township staff are present are available for bookings, however, unstaffed Township-owned facilities and halls remain closed until further notice. Please note the Rick MacLeish Memorial Arena in Cannington is closed until Spring 2022.
