The Township of Brock over the past 15-18 months, has commissioned and approved the Core Services Review and various Master Plans to guide the future direction for Brock’s infrastructure and service delivery.

Brock Celebrating Public Works Staff with46 Years of Service

Council celebrated long-time employee, Kim Galiegue’s 46 years of service at the meeting held on Monday September 9, 2024. Supervisor of Operations, Jason Lapp presented Mr. Galiegue with a long service award from the Ontario Good Road’s Association and spoke fondly of the years he worked alongside him and expressed gratitude for the mentorship. Kim’s service to the Township has had a lasting impact on the Public Works Department and his presence is surly missed at the yard.

Area wide speed limit reduction in Cannington

Whitby, Ontario – In support of Durham Vision Zero, The Regional Municipality of Durham and the Township of Brock will be installing an area wide 40 kilometre per hour (km/h) posted speed limit in Cannington.
Where: Cameron Street (Regional Road 12) from 260 metres west of Albert Street to 300 metres east of McRae Street in Cannington. The Township of Brock local roads within the community will also be changed to 40 km/h.

Good Doctors telemedicine clinic to open in Beaverton

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, in partnership with the Township of Brock, have entered an agreement to bring Good Doctors telemedicine to Beaverton—a service that’s been providing quality health care to Ontario residents since 2015.
