A public meeting will be held for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment application (ZBA-2024-02) by M. Watts for lands located at 15-17 Munro Street W in Cannington. The owner is proposing to rezone the property to a site specific R3 zoning to permit 4 residential units within the existing building. No new buildings are being proposed.

On August 21st, 2024 Township of Brock By-Law and Animal Services staff attended Beaverton Crossroad Veterinary Services to receive a very generous donation to the Sick and Injured Animal Fund in the amount of $ 2,965 from the owners of the clinic. Beaverton Crossroads Veterinary Services celebrated 30 years of exceptional veterinary service in the community over the weekend and held an open house which also resulted in a large amount of donations to the animal shelter of food and supplies. ...

In July Fishers Your Independent Grocer raised $4946.80 for the Township of Brock Dench Animal Shelter as part of their Give a Little Campaign. 100 % of the donations raised will go to the Sick and Injured Animal Fund which are used to directly support the emergency medical treatment of sick and injured animals that arrive at the Brock Animal Shelter. The fund also supports spay, neutering, vaccination and enrichment of shelter animals.
