Our public skating is open to all ages and abilities. Get active with friends and family and try a public skate today!
Check out our local hockey and figure skating clubs if you'd like to join a league or take lessons and improve your skills.
Public Skating Schedules
The Township of Brock is now offering Public Skating, Parent & Tot and Stick & Puck programs at the Sunderland Memorial Arena, Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre, and Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, programs are limited to 10 participants on ice, and must be pre-registered online.
Mandatory Pre-registration
All programs are now “pre-registered” programs and drop-ins will not be permitted. Registration must be completed online 24hrs prior to the program start time. Proof of registration will be required upon entry to the facility.

Admission Fees
Review our public skating admission fees:
- $3 for public skating (5 years of age and older)
- $10 family rate for public skating (5 members per family)
- $5 for Stick and Puck and Shinny Hockey
- $3 for Moms and Tots and Seniors skates
- $5 for Ticket Ice (drop-in figure skating)

Moms and Tots and Seniors |
Our drop-in moms, tots and seniors skate offers a slower paced leisurely skate, which provides a safe environment. This is a great way to introduce your child to skating. |
Public Skating |
Our drop-in public skating program is a leisurely skate for all ages. This is a great way to spend time with family and friends while being active. |
Shinny Hockey |
Drop-in shinny hockey is a great way to play a game of pick-up hockey with friends and family. You are required to wear full equipment during shinny hockey. Space is filled on a first come, first served basis. |
Stick and Puck |
Our stick and puck drop-in session is a great way for children to practice stick handling and shooting skills. You must wear a helmet during all stick and puck sessions. Full equipment isn't necessary. Please arrive early because we offer space on a first come, first served basis. |
Drop-in Figure Skating |
Our ticket ice program is for figure skaters of all ages. This is an affordable way to access ice-time and practice your figure skating skills. |
