2025 Mayoral By-Election

As of 2:00 p.m. Friday July 25, nominations for the by-election closed.  As there was only one candidate that filed, Deputy Mayor/Regional Councillor Michael Jubb is therefore acclaimed as Mayor, and thus, considered the Mayor Elect until his formal oath has been taken which will be administered on Monday in the Clerk’s office.

Congratulations to Mayor Elect Jubb.

A report will be presented to Council in September to outline the processes for filling the Regional Councillor vacancy.
