Brock Township Fire Department receives 2024 Certification Grant

Fire Chief Rick Harrison and Brock Township Fire Department are honored to be selected in 2024 to receive funding as part of the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council (FMPFSC) Certification Grant.

The Certification Grant provides selected provincial fire departments with funding to support the purchasing of firefighter training and educational needs to assist with the certification requirements as part of O.Reg.343/22 (Firefighter Certification). This is the 3^rd and final year that the grant will be offered in Ontario.     

As a recipient of this year’s grant, Brock Township Fire Department will receive $ 2790.75 to be used towards the purchase of 3 iPads to help facilitate training and certificate requirements for Brock Township Firefighters.

"It will most certainly help the Brock Township Fire Department with their training and educational needs to meet the requirements of the firefighter certification program. "
