Council Highlights January 27, 2025

Council Highlights offer a summary of crucial decisions or agenda items discussed in  Council meetings, aiming to give residents a snapshot of the meeting proceedings.

The Township of Brock Council Discussed the follow:

• Council received the 2025 Budget Overview presentation and Draft Budget report. Budget deliberations will commence on February 3, February 5, and February 7. Over those meetings each department will give their department budget presentations to Council.
• Council approved that the speed limit be reduced to 60 km/h on Concession 1 Brock .
• The Public Works department has been directed by Council to draw funds from the 2024 Capital budget to purchase 3 sidewalk machines.
• The Blackwater Bridget Rehabilitation tender was awarded to Ratcliffe Excavating and Grading for a total of $531,106.
