Nominations – 2025 By-Election

NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the TOWNSHIP OF BROCK

Nominations in the Township of Brock for the By-Election, which will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025, will be accepted for the following elected office by completing the prescribed form in the Office of the Clerk:       

                        Mayor: One (1) Member to be elected by general vote.

Nomination Procedures:

Nominations are required to be submitted on the prescribed form (available online and at the Clerk’s office), which must be endorsed by at least 25 persons who are eligible electors within the Township of Brock and shall be filed IN Person or by an Agent at the Clerk’s office, Township of Brock Municipal Administration Building, 1 Cameron Street East, Cannington, Ontario, L0E 1E0, during normal office hours (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) commencing

Monday, July 7, 2025. The last date to file a nomination form is Friday, July 25, 2025 (Nomination Day) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Booking an appointment is encouraged and can be arranged by emailing clerks@brock.ca

 Each filed nomination form must be accompanied with the prescribed nomination fee $200 payable by cash, certified cheque, money order, or debit only. No person who proposes to be a candidate may solicit or accept contributions for election purposes or incur campaign expenses until a nomination paper has been filed.
