What: Hosted by Film Durham and the region’s municipal film offices, this free seminar covers:
- Film-friendly fundamentals: what productions need and how to market your space.
- Location scouting: how scouts choose locations and what to expect during site visits.
- Preparing for production: how to get your home or business ready before a film crew arrives.
- Protecting your property: how to protect your space throughout the process.
- Production responsibilities: what film companies are accountable for.
- Registering your property: how to be included in Film Durham and Ontario Creates digital location libraries.
When: April 14 from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Parkwood Estate National Historic Site, (The Sunroom) located at 270 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa.
