Fitness Classes

The Township of Brock offers many fitness classes for you to enjoy! From yoga classes to Zumba, we have classes for every fitness level.  All classes require pre-registration as limited spaces are available. Walk-ins will not be accepted, and individuals will be turned away. Registration must be completed online before the first class of each program. 

Fall Fitness:

The Fall Fitness Schedule will run September 8- December 12, 2025. The schedule will offer both full session and single class registration. Full session registration opens August 18, 2025.  Single class registration will only open once the minimum number of participants have been confirmed for the full course. Classes that do not reach minimum participation by September 1, 2025 will be cancelled and individual class registration will not open.

Full Course Registration - $140.00 for 14 weeks ($10.00 per class)

Individual Class Registration - $12.00 per class

Full Session Registration is now open for the Fall Session.

Single Class registration is scheduled to open on September 1, 2025 for the Fall Session.

Mondays:

6:30pm @ Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre

P90X is a one-hour, all-in-one workout for all fitness levels. This high-intensity class combines Tabata, lower and upper body exercises, and core training to improve strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular endurance. Through "Muscle Confusion," P90X continuously challenges your body, ensuring progress and building a stronger you. Whether you want to tone, build strength, or enhance athletic performance, P90X delivers real results.

Tuesdays:

6:15pm @ Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre

This class offers a perfect introduction to Pilates, blending the grounding, flowing movements of yoga with the core-strengthening techniques of Pilates. We will flow through a series of yoga poses while incorporating beginner Pilates exercises designed to lengthen and strengthen the body. Whether you're new to either practice or have experience, this class is suitable for all levels. Poses and movements can be easily modified to be performed either in a chair or on the mat, making it accessible for everyone. Expect to improve flexibility, build strength, and find balance in both body and mind.

7:30pm @ Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre

In this class you will be guided through a series of precise, low impact, controlled movements that engage your core while strengthening abs, back, hips, and surrounding muscles. You will experience a holistic approach to training, focusing on proper alignment, breath, control, and the activation of your body’s deepest muscles. This class is suitable for all levels and modifications can be made as needed.

Wednesdays:

This is a playful yoga and mindfulness program designed for ages 7-14 of all abilities. In this 4(5)wk series we will explore age appropriate yoga poses, movements, and breathwork that will help develop body awareness, flexibility, self image-confidence, relaxation.

 Each session will be themed, using specific poses, mindfulness practices and self care activities.

November Session – November 5, 12, 19, 26

December Session – December 3, 10

6:00pm @ Beaverton Town Hall

Yoga classes help you find connection between your breath, mind and body as you flow through a series of yoga postures. You will leave feeling calm, focused and energized. Classes are for all levels – no yoga experience necessary. Please bring a yoga mat and water to each class.

7:15pm @ Beaverton Town Hall

Restorative yoga typically involves three to four poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. You will hold each pose for up to 15 minutes including light twists, forward holds and gentle backbends. This is slightly different from traditional yoga, but you will still leave feeling relaxed.

Thursdays:

6:00pm @ Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre

Get ready to sweat, push, and power through! This high-intensity bootcamp blends fast-paced Tabata intervals with dynamic circuit stations for a total-body workout that builds strength, burns fat, and boosts endurance. Circuit Rotates through timed stations targeting cardio, core, and strength.  Tabata-style intervals are designed to maximize results in minimal time. Perfect for all fitness levels—modifications provided. Come ready to challenge yourself and leave feeling stronger!

6:00pm @ Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre

Get moving, have fun, and feel the music! This high-energy class is designed just for youth ages 7–14 and combines easy-to-follow dance moves with upbeat music. Zumba helps build coordination, confidence, and fitness while making exercise feel like a dance party. No dance experience needed—just bring your energy and get ready to groove with friends!

7:15-8:15pm @ Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre

Challenge your whole body with a workout that’s always fresh and energizing! This class blends functional strength training, cardio drills, and conditioning exercises to target every major muscle group. With a new workout each week, you’ll stay motivated, build strength, endurance, and agility, and avoid hitting a plateau. Using a mix of equipment and bodyweight movements, the class is adaptable for all fitness levels—so whether you’re just starting out or pushing toward new goals, you’ll leave feeling stronger, fitter, and ready for more.

Saturdays:

8:00am @ Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre

Cardio & Strength Fit is designed to provide an effective workout to improve or maintain overall wellness and everyday function and includes:

- Cardio conditioning
- Strength training
- Balance
- Flexibility
- Stretching
This fitness class is for everyone looking to kick start their weekend with a workout, but is ideal for older adults and those who are starting an exercise program.

NO CLASS: October 11, November 1, 8, December 6

10:00-10:45am @ Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre

Stay active while spending quality time together as a family! This fun and welcoming class is designed for parents and their children of all ages. Whether your kids want to join in on the moves, hang out in our play area, or relax with activities you bring from home, they’ll be right alongside you. Each workout is adaptable to all fitness levels and blends strength, flexibility, and dance-inspired cardio—so parents can get a great workout while children engage, play, or even participate at their own pace. It’s a supportive, family-friendly space where everyone is welcome! Registration is only require for the parent participating in the class.

Refunds

Refunds will only be provided in the situation where the Township has cancelled a class. If you register for a program, and do not attend, you will not be eligible for a refund.
