Lane restrictions on Regional Road 12 in Cannington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 12 in the Township of Brock community of Cannington.
When: Ongoing until September 23. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Regional Road 12 west of Sideroad 18A to 400 metres west of Sideline 18A in Cannington.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham would like to remind residents that harvest season is coming soon. Drivers may experience temporary delays on rural roads due to slow moving farm machinery. Motorists are asked to be patient and cautious when sharing the road with these vehicles.
When: Harvest season starts in the fall and will continue until the ground is frozen.

A new well and pumphouse is being installed by The Region of Durham on the north side of Regional Road 12 (Cameron Street) to the west of Sideroad 18A behind 1735 RR#12 in Brock Township. The installation of the new well is for the provision of additional water supply capacity for the Cannington community in the Township of Brock.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents and businesses in Beaverton, in the Township of Brock, that mandatory water restrictions have now been lifted.
All Durham residents and businesses are reminded to continue practising water conservation methods by limiting all non-essential indoor and outdoor water use.
