With a potential interruption to Canada Post services pending, Brock is reminding residents to explore alternative options for accessing and submitting essential services like property taxes, parking tickets, facility rentals and dog tags. The Township is committed to maintaining continuity for residents despite potential mail delays.
Property Tax Payments
Property owners are still responsible for ensuring the Township receives property tax payments by the instalment due dates noted on tax bills with upcoming due dates of July 21 and September 22, 2025.
Ways to pay:
- Drop-box at Municipal Administrative Building, 1, Cameron Street E., Cannington (no cash, PLEASE)
- Online bill payment through your bank (“Payee” with most banks is “Brock Township Taxes”)
- Pay directly at your bank or via telephone banking
- Pay in person by cash, debit and cheque at the Municipal Administrative Building, 1, Cameron Street E., Cannington
- Residents on the Township’s pre-authorized payment plan and residents’ whose property taxes are paid by their Mortgage Company, your property tax instalments will be processed as usually scheduled.

Building Permits Fees
Building Permit Fees can be paid by cash, cheque, or debit at the Township of Brock Municipal Office in Cannington or online using the information sent via the Cloudpermit messaging feature. Please contact the Building Department Building@brock.ca for more information.
Parking Tickets
Parking tickets can be paid online or in person by cash, cheque, or debit at the Municipal Administrative Building, 1, Cameron Street E., Cannington
Facility Rentals
Facilities rentals/bookings can be paid online or in person by cash, cheque, or debit at the Municipal Administrative Building, 1, Cameron Street E., Cannington. Please contact bookings@brock.ca for more information.
Dog Tags
Residents that purchase a dog tag online during the potential postal strike will need to come and pick up the tag at the Municipal Administrative Building, 1, Cameron Street E., Cannington. Any tags not picked up will be mailed when possible.
Dog tags can be purchased in person at the following locations:

- Davis Hardware, Beaverton
- A5 Pet Store, Beaverton
- Dench Animal Shelter, Cannington
