A Public Meeting will be held to consider a proposed Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-Law Amendment.
Please note that the virtual meeting originally scheduled for July 25, 2022, has been rescheduled to August 8, 2022, and will be held in-person at the Manilla Community Hall. Details are below.

of Manilla boundary and a stormwater management pond.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING:
TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Brock will hold a public meeting on August 8, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., in an in-person format to consider an application for a Draft Plan of Subdivision and an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment. The Region of Durham is the approval authority for the draft plan of subdivision and the Township of Brock is the approval authority for the proposed zoning by-law amendment. The applications have been deemed complete in accordance with the requirements of Sections 34 and 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990.
PROVIDING WRITTEN COMMENTS
Please submit written comments to clerks@brock.ca on or before noon on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Comments may also be mailed or dropped off at the Township Office at 1 Cameron Street East, Cannington, ON L0E 1E0. Any questions received will be addressed verbally at the meeting.

FAILURE TO MAKE WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS:
Any person may attend the public meeting and/or make written or oral representation either in support of, or in opposition to, the proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment. Written submissions related to the proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision should be addressed to the Planning Division of the Region of Durham. Written submissions related to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment should be addressed to the Township Clerk.
If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Region of Durham in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision, you must make a written request to the Planning Division of the Region of Durham. If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Brock on the proposed zoning by-law amendment, you must make a request to the Township Clerk.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting, or make written submissions to the Planning Division of the Region of Durham, in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Region of Durham to the Ontario Land Tribunal; and the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Township of Brock to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Brock before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision; and the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
REPRESENTATION
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to this proposed amendment. Should you wish to receive notices of future decisions regarding this application, please email planning@brock.ca and ask to be added to the Interested Person list for this project.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION relating to the Amendments is available for inspection during regular office hours at the Municipal Administration Building.
