2026 Remembrance Day commemorations in Brock Township
Residents are invited to take part in local Remembrance Day services taking place throughout Brock Township. Communities will gather to honour the sacrifices of Canadian veterans and active service members, and to reflect on the importance of peace, freedom, and remembrance.
Veterans' Week is November 5-11, 2026 and the Legion Poppy Flag will be flown at the Municipal Administration to recognize our Veterans and remember those who died to protect our freedom.
On November 8, Canadians also observed Indigenous Veterans Day. This day recognizes the important contributions First Nations, Inuit, and Métis service members have made to Canada’s military efforts. The Flags at the Municipal Administration Building will be lowered to half mast on Friday November 6 and remain until November 12, 2026
