Explore the Beaches

Soak up the sunshine at Brock’s inviting public beaches, where the clear waters of Lake Simcoe provide the ideal setting for swimming, picnicking, and lakeside fun. Throughout the summer, water quality is monitored regularly to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

Thorah Centennial Park has a sandy beach, a playground, picnic spots, and lots of parking. It’s a great place for families to enjoy a fun day outside

Beaverton Harbour Park is another fun spot by the lake. It has an accessible sandy beach, picnic area, pier you can walk or fish on, playground, splash pad, washrooms, boat launch, accessible kayak dock and parking. It’s perfect for relaxing or spending time with friends.

Beaverton Harbour Boat Launch

Spend the day on Lake Simcoe. The Township of Brock offers a variety of private marinas and public boat launches so you can enjoy time on the water.

You can launch or dock your boat at Beaverton Harbour located at 24 Harbour Park Cres. in Beaverton.

Residents of the Township of Brock are not required to pay boat launch fees. 


Fees for seasonally docking your boat in a municipal slip are as follows:

Boats docking at Beaverton Harbor for 3 hours or less, can dock free of charge in the designated transient slips. 
If docked in a designated slip, your vessel may be subject to fine or removal at owners expense.

Free Fishing Weekends in Ontario

Canadian residents can fish anywhere in Ontario without buying a fishing licence during four designated periods each year.
