Brock Firefighters Raise $1,226.35 for the Brock Dench Animal Shelter

In the presence of Mayor Walter Schummer and Fire Chief Rick Harrison - District Chief Chad Wilson, Fire Prevention Officer Madison Bath, and Firefighter Olivia Zonnenberg presented the cheque to Animal Control Officers Kim McKonkey, Lisa Jarrett (behind the camera), James Ridgway, and Brooke Green.

Thanks to the generous support of the community, Brock Firefighters raised $1226.35 during the well-attended Firefighter Car Wash.

The Firefighter Car Wash was hosted by Firefighters on their own free time at Station 81 in Sunderland on August 24th from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.  and had about 77 vehicles attend from the community to support this worthy cause.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who participated in the car wash and graciously donated. Your support makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the animals in our community!
