• Council Highlights

• The Township of Brock is proud to recognize Captain Jesse Beaudrow, for his incredible courage in risking his life to save others. Jesse was recently awarded the Ontario Medal for Firefighter Bravery, the province’s highest honour for his heroism.
• Council received the Urban Farming - Backyard Hens Report and have directed staff to prepare a licensing program. Currently backyard chickens are not permitted within urban or rural settlement areas, which include towns, villages, and hamlets. More information will be available soon.
• By-laws regarding reduced speed in Cannington and Sunderland have been passed. The new posted speed will be 40 Kilometers per hour through out each community .
•  Council received the By-law and Animal Services Division Q2 Report and that donations to the Sick and Injured Animal Fund go directly to the care of animals and are greatly appreciated
