Notice of Construction - Beaverton Lake Homes site off Thorah Concession Rd 5 and Osborne St.

Please be advised that construction will be recommencing on the Beaverton Lake Homes site off Thorah Concession Rd 5 and Osborne St. Construction will include earthworks, deep sewer services, rock breaking and pond construction. These works are being undertaken to prepare the site for a residential subdivision that has been approved for this area.

The Township recognizes that this development has experienced delays and periods of inactivity over many years and understand the frustration this has caused within the community. The Township is also guided by provincial direction to support the development of new housing, and there continues to be interest from prospective homebuyers in this subdivision. The Township is working with the developer to move the project forward and ensure that required works are completed in accordance with approved plans and municipal requirements.
