Notice of Vote – 2026 Municipal Election
as per Section 40 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996

 

NOTICE is hereby given to the Municipal Electors of the Township of Brock

WHEREAS more candidates have been nominated to each of the following offices than the number required to fill such offices:

 Offices for Which Voting is to be Required:

 

Mayor:                                          One (1) Member to be elected by general vote;

Regional Councillor:                         One (1) Member to be elected by general vote;

Ward Councillors:                             One (1) Member to be elected in Ward One (1);

                                                            One (1) Member to be elected in Ward Two (2);

                                                            One (1) Member to be elected in Ward Three (3);

                                                            One (1) Member to be elected in Ward Four (4);

                                                            One (1) Member to be elected in Ward Five (5).        


English Language Durham District School Board:

Two (2) Trustees to be elected to represent the combined area of the Townships of Uxbridge, Scugog, and Brock;

Offices That are Acclaimed:

English Language Durham Catholic District School Board:

Richard Damianopoulos Acclaimed to represent the combined area of the Townships of Uxbridge, Scugog, and Brock;

Conseil Scolaire Viamonde:

Erik Lapointe Acclaimed to represent the combined areas of the Counties of Haliburton, Northumberland, Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough (City), Quinte West (City) and the Regional Municipality of Durham;

Conseil Scolaire Catholique MonAvenir:

Marcellin Kwilu Mondo Acclaimed to represent the combined areas of the Counties of Northumberland, Hastings, Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough (City), Quinte West (City), and the Regional Municipality of Durham.

Voting Information:

Voter Information Letters containing each electors’ secure PIN will be mailed out by September 30, 2026. Please keep your Voter Information Letter and PIN in a secure location.

Electors may cast their ballot by one of the following methods: online, by telephone or by requesting a ballot on demand by attending a Voting Assistance Centre. 

The voting period begins October 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. on October 26, 2026. Voting proxies are not permitted.
