The Township of Brock Accessibility Award is presented once a year to an organization, business or individual in Brock that has shown a concerted effort to improve accessibility. Improved accessibility can mean either physical alterations or new programs, features or services that reduce barriers and permit great access for those with disabilities.

The Thrift Hub, located at 33 Cameron Street East, Cannington, has been named the recipient of the 2024 Township of Brock Accessibility Award for going above and beyond to ensure an environment of accessibility for all of their patrons.

Mayor Walter Schummer, Ward 3 Councillor Angela Canavan and Brock Accessibility Advisory Committee Members - Chair Donna Schirle, Vice Chair Tony Laundrie, Mike Parliament and Gerhard Smit presented The Thrift Hub with the Township of Brock Accessibility Award.

The Township of Brock would like to thank The Thrift Hub and their dedicated staff for the continued dedication to proving accessible service in a welcoming environment for our residents.
