Township of Brock Parks Update October 25, 2024

King Street Park, Beaverton Update

Starting on Monday October 28, work on the King Street Park project will begin. In preparation for this work, the tennis court nets and the swing seats have been removed. The park will not be accessible during the construction and fencing will be erected around the worksite. The timeline for this project is expected to be about 3 weeks from start to finish and some areas will remain fenced off for hydro seeding.  Please be advised that parking will be limited due to the fencing and there will be added truck traffic during construction.

MacLeod Park, Cannington Update

Starting on Monday October 28, 2024 Construction will begin the shaded playground by the Cannington Lawn Bowling club. Instillation is scheduled to start November 4, 2024. The park will be closed and off limits for excavation as work begins on the new playground.

Fairgate Park, Sunderland Update

Starting on Monday October 28, 2024 Construction will begin the Fairgate park. Installation is scheduled to start November 4, 2024. The park will be closed.

Please be advised that the Township will provide updates on these projects when available. These dates are subject to change. Fencing and barricades will be in place to indicate that the areas are closed to the public.
