 Public Skating Schedule

Public ice programs for the 2025-2026 season begin October 6th at the Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre and October 14 at the Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre. The Sunderland Memorial Arena is closed for the 2025-2026 due to renovations.

Please note: Our Stick & Puck program has been updated, and nets will no longer be provided on the ice. In response, we have expanded our Shinny offerings—now divided into Youth (ages 8–15) and Adult (ages 16+) sessions—to better reflect participant interests and ensure a safer, more enjoyable experience for all. Reminder, full equipment is required for Shinny.

Parent & Tot & Senior Skate offers a slower paced leisurely skate, which provides a safe environment. This is a great way to introduce your child to skating. A parent/guardian must provide constant, active, on-ice supervision. Sticks and pucks are not permitted. This skate is not supervised. Helmets are strongly recommended for all ages and are required for participants ages 6 years and under.
