There are several stages that any development must go through prior to construction. The following development applications have received draft approval in the subdivision planning process:
Each of these developments are in various stages of detailed design and clearing of any conditions provided when the draft approval was given. One the conditions are cleared, the Plan of Subdivision is Registered.
Rezoning Applications in Progress
File No. 11-2021-PL CBM Sunderland Expansion
An application to rezone Part Lots 7 & 8, Concession 2, Brock, Township of Brock in March 2022 by Esher Planning Inc., on behalf of CBM Aggregates, a division of St. Mary's Cement Inc. The application is to rezone the lands to permit an expansion of an existing mineral aggregate operation. A public meeting was held virtually on Monday, July 25, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
File No. 07-2022-RA Manilla Subdivision
An application to rezone Part Lot 27, Concession 7, Brock, Township of Brock in April 2022 by Michael Smith Planning Consultants, on behalf of Simcoe 16700 Inc. The application is to rezone the lands to permit a residential development of 31 single detached homes. A Statutory Public Meeting was held at Manilla Community Hall on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.
File No. 04-2020-RA Beaverton Commons / Armour Heights Development
An application to rezone Part Lot 11, Concession 5, Beaverton, Township of Brock in September 2020 by Bob Clark, Clark Consulting Services, on behalf of Frank Mazzotta, Armour Heights Development. The application is to rezone the lands to permit a Commercial Development. A public meeting was held virtually on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 6:30 p.m.
File No. SB-2017-02 Maplewood / Fisico Development
An application to rezone Part Lot 16, Concession 5 in Beaverton was received in November 2017 from Gatzio Planning Consultants on behalf of 333568 Ontario Limited (Logan Homes). The lands are located west of Nine Mile Road and south of Maplewood Avenue. The application is to rezone the lands to permit a residential development of 103 single detached homes. A Statutory Public Meeting was held on March 5, 2018.
File No. 9-2019-RA Main Street, Beaverton Development
An application to rezone Part Lot 15, Concession 5, Thorah, Township of Brock was received December 2019 from The Biglieri Group on behalf of First Beaverton Inc. and Second Beaverton Inc. The application is to rezone the lands to allow the development of 27 single detached homes and 25 townhouse units. A concurrent application for a plan of subdivision has been submitted to the Region of Durham. A public meeting was held on February 3, 2020.
