Accessible Parking Permits

You can apply for an accessible parking permit through Service Ontario. This permit allows for on-street parking through the Township of Brock.

Permit Requirements

Only individuals with a disability can use an accessible parking permit. Please place the permit on the sun visor of the driver's side of the vehicle. The permit must be visible from the outside of the vehicle.

According to the Traffic By-law, no person shall park in an accessible parking space unless that person is in lawful possession of a permit and:

Is a person with a disability
Is transporting a person with a disability who is in possession of a permit

Overnight Parking Permits

Overnight parking is not permitted in any Township of Brock parking lot without permission or a valid parking permit as per the current Traffic By-law.

Where can I park overnight ?

Lot B - Beaverton Fairgrounds
Lot C - Foster Hewitt Memorial Community Centre (Beaverton)
Rick MacLeish Memorial Community Centre (Cannington)
Sunderland Medical Centre
Sunderland Memorial Arena

A valid parking permit is required for any overnight parking in these lots.

Overnight (one night)

The cost for a nightly parking permit is $16.27 including HST.

Permits must be purchased online in advance.

Monthly

The cost for a monthly parking permit is $20.91 including HST.

The permit is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Permits must be purchased online in advance.

Seasonal

The cost for a seasonal parking permit is $106.79 including HST.

The permit is valid from April 1st to October 31st.

Permits must be purchased online in advance.

Annual

The cost for an annual parking permit is $185.66 including HST.

The permit is valid from January 1 - December 31st.

Permits must be purchased online in advance.

Please note if you have purchased a permit, you will be responsible for printing your confirmation email as proof of permit. Permits will be assigned based on licence plate information provided within the application.

With regard to snow clearing, parking lots are serviced on an as needed basis. If the parking lot has not been cleared prior to your required use, it is an assumed risk by the permit holder to enter the lot. Permit holders may choose to clear around their own vehicle with a shovel to exit the lot if required.

No refunds will be issued for permits purchased. Please note there is a $50 admin fee for a transfer of the permit to another licence.
